Captain Rob takes a group of special needs children and their families to Cumberland Island to explore its many natural beauties! Children love seeing wild horses, deer, turkey and much more wildlife! They get an opportunity to swim in the ocean and picnic under the Oak trees! As they tour the island they learn about the history of Cumberland and how it came to be as they see it today! No tour is the same always something new to see! The picture above shows touring the south end of the island and exploring the ruins of Dungeness!

Fishing off the dock is always a great time and no better place to start for those getting comfortable with the water! This is an event for inner city children of the Golden Isles! Most of them are fishing for the first time and catch their very first fish! They learn safety of the water and how to prepare their own fishing rods from hooking the bait to proper guidance on how to hold a rod and casting the rod! We also cookout and discuss their personal goals and dreams and what it will take to achieve these goals and dreams! Bright children who have everything it takes to succeed and need guidance and support from their community to keep them motivated along the way!
